The 2005 edition of Rider Mania 8th & 9th Jan, Panvel, was a thumping success. Over 250 hard-core Royal Enfield enthusiasts had the time of their lives. Riders from various parts of the country, of all ages and backgrounds, hit the roads to be in Panvel on the 8th and 9th of January 2005. The most diehard of the lot rode over 2500 km to participate in the festivities.

7th January - Friday
The first weekend of the New Year was an eventful one for Royal Enfield enthusiasts. It was mania time - Rider Mania! Riders from all over the country started arriving at Panvel.

8th January - Saturday
9.00 am
The day was finally here! At 9:00 am the oldest participant at the event officially inaugurated Rider Mania 2005. This was followed by a welcome address by the hosts and a walk-through of the entire event schedule.

12.00 noon
Come noon and the non-biking and biking related competitions commenced.There was Arm Wrestling, Beer Bellies, Cable Wars, Assembly Line and Slow Race. It was a fun for all and everyone had a good start to the festivities.

7.30 pm - 10.00 pm
What's a gathering such as this without some good rock music? It was time for Rock Nite where the gathered were entertained by Sceptre and Vayu.

10:00 pm onwards till the wee hours of the morning
We needn't tell you specially that the rock performance had prepped up everyone for their performance on the dance floor. Party time had arrived.DJ Black Jack kept everyone jiving to his beat with his sensational dance mixes.

9th January - Sunday
10.00 am
It was formal hello time. Groups had rode in from all over the country and now every group was introduced. They showcased their exploits and shared their views on varied topics.

2:00 pm
The Rider Mania 2005, Rally - the event that everyone was waiting for was about to be flagged off. The splash, pomp and colour everywhere was a spectacle you had to see with your own eyes. Enthusiasm was the name of the game to begin with and it was on high gear that lasted the entire rally.

8:00 pm
Honour, we must, for the achievements of the awardees were no mean tasks.The awards ceremony was as moving as it was flashy.

9.00 pm
Another Rock Show was followed by a party that swung well into the night.Claver and DJ Blackjack punctuated the festivities with a grand fireworks display as the curtains were drawn on another rocking edition of Rider Mania.
