We all were very upset as other then some Antelopes and few very popular Birds we had seen nothing, whereas the people claim that this forest has around 397 lions. On our way back we saw a motorcycle and the owner was Sultan Bhai a forest guard. He stopped us and pointed towards a direction where we could spot a Lion. I tried taking a photograph but because on the darkness created by the jungle and distance I could not capture it. I requested Sultan bhai to click a photograph for me as he was moving very close to the lion and guess what he said – come down. My heart started thumping as I agreed to him. He took me close to the lion almost 200 to 300 mtrs. And so was able to capture some photograph though not much clear. I was amazed at the behavior of this cat. He was a 5 to 6 years of lion and when he saw us he made no move and was just shaking his neck left and right. Sultan bhai was constantly taking a sound from his mouth which I late realized what it was. Though was very happy to see the Cat but was equally disappointed to see its behaviour. We came back to Singha Sadan. I came to know that they show a movie shot by BBC. The show started at 1900 hrs. Now through this show I could make out the whole story. Actually this land is part of Africa and you can see exactly the same kind of people.
