12:00 AM Sun, May 6, 2007 There are good mechanics in Delhi. Try out the RE workshop near Paharganj area....Its near Imperial Cinema and Hotel Nataraj. Very well known place. Try out Mechanic named Maam Chand or other guy Surinder (or ask for the one who his electrical / wiring specialist). Other place is near Minto Bridge....when u are about to touch Minto Road (heading from ITO on Din Dayal Upadhyay Marg or Rouse Avennue Marg - as it is also know as).....left side u will fnd a mandir....go and enquire about the RE Mechanic / workshop in that corner....either on that road or maybe after turning left towards minto bridge and connaught place.
Ride safe.
Wear ur head gear always.

Mamchand at SR Motors Garage in Paharganj is a good one. But its a very busy place and and you somehow feel that the bike doesn't get a proper workover. I am looking for a place where I can get a full service done and not just changing the oils and tightening the Nuts.
A guy i met once told me about someone in Lajpat Nagar. Any Pointers?

12:00 AM Sun, May 13, 2007 I recommend John Automobiles at Mahipalpur (they shifted from Pandara road). I have been going to them for the past 1 year for all my check ups after being ripped off by Maam chand. Pappu at John's seems to be an expert and senses the problem just by the "did..did..did" sound....check him out...its near the mahipalpur flyover..when you are coming from Delhi, don't go over the flyover but take the left side road...go past radisson and keep a watch on to your left, especially when the flyover on to your right side is descending...its hard to notice since its kind of inside...but as you will proceed further you will notice the board on top...
Caution: there's another Bullet mechanice just ahead of john's...some people confuse him for john's...so look for the sign board...

12:00 AM Sun, May 13, 2007 In Delhi, Santosh is the best mechanic for Bullets, he worked 5 yrs in authorised workshop of Enfield before opening his workshop in Kishangarh (Vasant Kunj), that guy is very honest and passionate about Bullet.

Hi Aamir, I am currently getting my bike done up from this place but am far from being satisfied...the problem that I had gone there with, still remains...I am not even talking about the money spent here, guess these guys are pretty hyped...I have kindda developed an aversion for these authorised workshop mechanics, too comercial.

12:00 AM Sat, May 26, 2007 Varinder and Mam Chand at Ess Aar motors workshop in Chuna Mandi opp. Central Bank are the best mechanics. The best, highly skilled and experts.
Mam Chand can tell the problem by merely hearing the sound. Trust me friends, I have been riding Bullet for the past 8-9 years and been to various mechanics, but this guy means some serious business. Even the minute of a sound in rockers could'nt go unnoticed by him in last service. Such precision and expertise in his hands, I was amazed. Undoubtedly he is the best mechanic of the Bullet in Delhi.
Second good mechnics are Bhamra Brothers in Tri Nagar main road (opp. Inderlok Metro Station). Famous in the area as Bullet Wale Sardarji - these two brothers are the better of the mechanics I've known so far.

12:00 AM Tue, August 28, 2007 Hi guys!
I am Prakhar, & I have just recently purchased a second hand Electra, make year 2004, that has runin 23000 kms.
Now I couldn't take the bike to a mechanic & I bought the bike after getting the positive opinions of a few seniors.
Now, I want to get it tuned up properly so that I can start riding it & enjoying it. Although, this forum has given me an idea about the various good mechanics, but any particular suggestions would be welcomed.
I AM NEW TO BULLETS & HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM, so I will just have to believe what the mechanic says & hence, want to go to a genuine mechanic. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Take care & happy thumping,
Prakhar.

Go to ESS AAR, contact manager Mr. Shrikrishan tell him reg. Tuning of ur bike thts enough, off course genuine work costs a bit more and don’t forget skilled trained mechanics always cost more than roadsides but work speaks. Since m also zero in knowledge and had continuous experience with them since last 4 services.

12:00 AM Mon, May 12, 2008 Hi guys!
I am a resident of Gurgaon, & will be shifting to Delhi shortly. I will be putting up in Moti Bagh. Could any one suggest any mechanic for my Electra in the locality.
I want the mechanic to be trustworthy & good at what he does. I don't mind if a mechanic tells me no for something that he can't do or is not good at.
I have been to the Ess Arr workshop, & honestly, mamchand seemed a little different from what I had expected, mainly because of the money aspect. Lets not get into the details, but I hope to find another mechanic soon.
Thanks guys.
Happy thumping,
Prakhar

12:00 AM Tue, October 7, 2008 The worst and only RE workshop in Noida is Sri Mahadev Agency, Sec-10.
From my horrific experience of 2 yrs (i realised it too late, when my TBD started crying/weeping). I'd suggest, rather get ur bullet serviced from a roadside rickshaw mechanic, than from SRI MAHADEV AGENCY.
I'm looking for a good and patient RE mechanic in Delhi & NCR.
I had gone through the discussions on this topic and it has made me confused.
Some prefer Bullet wale sardar ji, some say Mam Chand is the best and some suggest Santosh.
I'm ready to pay a few extra bucks, but for a quality service.
Can anyone suggest an expert mechanic who works patiently and thoroughly.
Thanks!

07:16 PM Tue, September 8, 2009 Its been almost10 months now, and I have done 12,000 kms. I have got only one service done from Gurgaon service station. Rest all were from Lamba Motors near Tilak Nagar. Every time I take my bike for servicing, my only request to the mechanic is to do something to stop engine oil, gear oil leakage and front suspension noise. However they are unable to do it till now. Its high time now. From my own sources I have got names for only two places
1. Pahar gunj
2. South delhi
my only advice,DON'T visit Lamba Motors.

Prakhar,
You can blindly trust on Tribhuvan, he sits in Karol Bagh (Near Jai Jawan Juice Corner), ask @ Jain Enfeild about him.
He is the only guy u can trust as
1) He will not charge even a Single Penny From YOU
2) He is very honest, and will not put unnecesary things like vijendar(Essar Mechanic, sits in Karo; Bagh on Sundays)
My experience was very gud..... and wud suggest you to go and meet him @ ur bike's next service.

01:11 PM Fri, March 26, 2010 On Sundays ,i.e when off duty , the best 2 mechanicsfrom Ess Aarwork at following locations:-
1. Mam Chand - Near Fawaare Wala Chowk , SBI Building , Chandni Chowk . If you come from Lal Qila ( Subhash Marg ) and proceed towards Sheesh Ganj Sahib Gurdwara , you will find him working on roadside at Chowk just next to Sheesh Ganj gurdwara , i.e the second chowk. He is a legend , and works like a magician . Years and years of experience coupled with god given talent and his love for the Bullet motorcycle.
2.Vijender - the second best in the world . While coming from Bikanerwala towards Gaffar Market , i.e on Gurudwara road , you will come across a shop called New Delhi motorcycle house ( Jain bullet wala). Vijender works in the gali just opposite his shop. You can ask anybody about him.

10:22 PM Thu, January 26, 2012 I know this very knowledgeable mechanic in Lajpat Nagar… just adjacent to the Export Hut store in Krisha Market. He's laid his hands on my bike for two/three times (nothing major work done on it though), but everytime I'm left at peace with his work.
