''Arunachal Bullet Club'' of Itanagar arranged a Royal Enfield Bike rally to Bumla Pass i.e. India China border and invited all the Royal Enfield Motorcycle clubs of Northeast to join them. But due to some unavoidable circumstance most of them could not join. Yet we few i.e. me, Mr. Sekhar Bhuyan and Mr. Pundarikashya Borah from ''Riding Wind Rippers'' club from Tezpur, Mr. Sunil Karnany from ''Rhinos Motorcycle Club'' from Jorhat and Mr. Lalboy from ''Nagaland Motorcycle Club'' from Dimapur join them.
5 of us (mentioned above) waited at Balipara where 8 riders from ABC under the leadership of Mr. Vijay Soman joined us. There are some experienced riders in that team like Mr. Jose Nabum, Mr. Jesy, Mr. Rupam Jha, and Mr. Mantu etc.
1st day i.e. on October 30, 2009, we ridded 160 KM (from Tezpur) up to Bomdila 2,300 meter (7,550 feet) above sea level and spend the night at government tourist lodge there. The beautiful lady district tourism officer ceremoniously welcomed us with garlanding traditional scarf.
2nd day i.e. on October 31, 2009, we started to Tawang from there it was 178 KM from Bomdila. We passed through ice clapped Sela Pass 4,175 meter (13,700 feet) above sea level. This is the second highest motorable pass in the world. And reached Tawang 3,300 meter (10,830 feet) above sea level and spent the night at government tourist lodge there. There also we were welcomed by EAC Mr. Chetia.
3rd day i.e. on November 1, 2009, we started our journey to Bumla Pass 5,030 meter (16,500 feet) above sea level. 2 new riders working at Tawang originally hailed from Tezpur Mr. Jogen and his friend joined us for this trip. This was the most exciting part of the journey as road was rocky and rough and climb were very steep sometime it is more than 45° I feel. Man and the Machines were tested to its limit. Riding on sub zero temperature and very low air pressure was very exciting. I am not getting proper words to express it. To understand it fully one will have to experience it. (See more photos in the link:

After spending some time at McMohan Line (India-China border) we visited friendship hall where both army (India-China) meets every 26th day of the month. Our JAWANs served us some much needed hot tea and snakes there. We returned to Tawang and spend the night there. We also visited important sites there specially 1962 War Memorial and Tawang Monastery where Dalai Lama was to visit on November 8, 2009.
4th day i.e. on November 2, 2009, we started our return journey. We ridded down to Bomdila and again spend the night at government tourist lodge there.
5th day i.e. on November 3, 2009, 11 of us returned to our place but Mr. Vijay Sonam of Itanagar and Mr. Sunil Karnany of Jorhat tried a new route to Itanagar via. Seppa and reached home on November 5, 2009.
A very successful trip ended…
