My affair with Bullet started way back in mid-seventies during my highschool days. I used to stare at every Bullet that crossed my way and used to think what is so attractive, so mesmerising about it. I still have not got the answer. Got my prized possession in 1986, a second hand Std. 350. Got married in 1989 and believe me my wife started complaining from day 1 that I spend more time with my bike. Poor girl, condition remained same till date but she stopped complaning long back. I don’t call it an affinity, a passion, a hobby or anything. Bulleting ( not biking ) is my way of life. The satisfaction I get from her is something similar to what Hussain gets after painting a masterpiece, what Sachin gets after scoring every century. She has been with me over 19 years, always willing to take me wherever I wanted to travel, never ceased her engine. She is my “ Whispering Thunder”. I am so happy to be a part of the wonderful brotherhood of Bullet lovers. My dear Inddiethumpers, my great friends from all over India and abroad…. Kartik, Imran, Tinu, Baljeet, Manish, Sarangan, Ranga, Dodo, Sachin, Indra, Aman, Jojo, Vernon…. I am lucky to be with you guys. I think I have a liking for English bikes, so aquired a BSA B-31 Plunger, 1951 model. I named her “ Bedazzled “. She truly is a head turner and still running strong. I have done Kathmandu, Ladakh and whole of maharashtra. My work doesn’t permit me other wise I would have been on road most of the time. My last wish is to ride to Ridermania where couple of thousands of Bullets will be riding in. I know it will happen one day.
