MY PARKING SPACE

Hi All,
I am Jawahar.
I have been an avid BULLETeer since 1984 when i got on my 1st Bullet a 1972 model. Despite the leaks and the trouble changing the rear tyre (it was a real tiresome problem then) and the starting and all the possible BULLET problems - I loved the bike.

1989 I got myself my second BULLET and the touring started. Weekends meant long drives on the bike, irrespective of the weather. I had to stop biking from 1993 due to a knee accedent while trekking. I thought I could not be on a bike again. Longest bike ride was Delhi - Shillong (1990)
 
April 2008.... on a whim, fancy and impulse...... I just bought a second hand BULL- Electra.

The moment I got onto it ..... biking just came back in a second and The Bullets beat just took over me.

So at the age of 46 and despite being grossly overweight... I am back on the BULL. Planning now to get back to shape and get on with serious biking.
 
Getting back to shape has alrerady started up. Weekends is just me and the BULL and the roads.
 
Have done a few modifications to the bike to give it a retro look.

DID a trip for October... Delhi- Bariely, Baheri- Kicha- Tanakpur- Sukhidhang, Champawat and back to Delhi via Mount Abbot- Champawat- Nainita, Haldwanil.
 
Planning one now towards Bundelkhand , to be the tigers... via Khajuraho/ Orrcha/ Ken river and onwards. Planned time is Feb. Anyone who is aware of this route ... please give me some tips and feedback.
