Even those days are behind me...
I am now doing my MBA at TAPMI, Manipal. Awesome place to ride around...hilly twisties as well as beaches, but MBA leaves one with little time. However, I am glad to have the weekend cornering trips :)
Presently in Mumbai for my Summer Internship. Lets see how things pan out in this city of crazy traffic.

As with most other things around us, things about me have changed...so here is a small update:
I am based in Hyderabad now, working for L&T still. Just moved to a more white collar side of the biz. I love it cuz it gives me two saturdays off to ride off in some uncharted direction. Been riding with the Wanderers and meeting them "Jhaadi ke Neeche" and I have officially become a member of the Eastern Bulls club. The lone wolf has found his pack :)
The bike remains the same...check mods section for the few alterations I have made. Currently waiting to ride to Ooty for RM 09.
Giligili all the way :)

Hi there fellow Bulleteers,
i am 23 yr old male from all over India :) i was born in Kolkata, studied in Bangalore and now working for L&T in Tadpatri. Its one of those small Naxalite infested villages in Andhra that gets a mention in the papers now and then because someone shot someone else. After having a blast during school and college, it was depressing to be in such a place and thus i decided to turn things into fun with a Bullet.
Back when i was in my 8th std, i had come home from school and my dad’s enfield (Standard 350cc Enfield India Bullet, 1985 make) was lying in the garage with a punctured rear tyre. i was given the permission to ride it if i could push it to the mechanic’s. For the first time in my life i was realizing first hand why tyres are round and not flat! after half an hour of pushing (which eventually gave way to shoving) i was at the mechanic’s. i could’ve fainted had it not been for the sheer exhilaration of being minutes away from being able to ride the Bullet. Let me tell you, riding a Bullet is by far the best stimulant i have ever discovered. i was so stimulated that i rode on and on and finally ran out of fuel and had to push it to a fuel stop. i believe i am the only Bulleteer around who pushed a bullet on the first day of riding it..twice!!
Once i left for my Engineering in Bangalore the bike was basically sitting and getting rusted from lack of use. I couldnt take it to bangalore cuz it didnt have updated paperwork (the beauty of the Bullet is that cops never stop you...you’re like a bro if u have a bullet), and eventually we sold the beauty in 2004. Bought for 18000 bucks in 1985, the bike went for 23000 in 2004. i believe i would surprise quite a few economists if these figures were to be published.
It was during my engineering that i completely fell in love with engines and decided that if i were to buy a bike it would have to be a bullet. The mania subsided a little when i learnt of the prices after landing up at the showroom after my first payday! Soon my company sent me to Tadpatri and i knew the madness was back. Lush sunflower fields, broad roads laced with potholes to maneouvre around and complete absence of traffic. A Bullet was what i needed.
It was only a few days back that i landed up at Hyderabad, bought the Electra 5S KS (no ES for me...i prefer the kick i guess) and broke it in by riding it back to Tadpatri on the same day...400 odd kms. As of today, the baby’s 10 days old and the Odometer reads 934 :P
I believe that I have bought for myself a piece of exquisite and yet simple engineering which shall continue to turn heads for years to come.
N-joy!
