Originally from the City of Joy, Calcutta, I came to Manipal, Karnataka to do my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering...it was here that I discovered my secret passion for bikes and especially the bullet..for a very simple reason..it was customizable beyond my wildest imaginations. I love customizing my things...every small little thing...it was expected that I was going to customize my bike to the fullest...and the result was a pleasant one.
Behind every successful man there is a woman..but behind the success of my vehicle there was my untiring persistence of me and my mechanic, the sheet metal worker, the painter, the upholstery guy and so many more....I am a perfectionist..and while that is a pain sometimes, it gives a really good output. So more time actually went into perfecting the mods rather than making the mods.:)

Do not assume that I pay no attention to the engine and concentrate on cosmetic changes. That would be a very big mistake. The entire engine is almost new :) meaning that all parts that have undergone any wear and tear since 1987 have been replaced. With the proper maintenance the enfield showroom owner here admitted it is as smooth as any of his new bikes.
The additional weight of the vehicle (due to the mods) did cut down its mileage a little but as i have already said...every nice thing has some drawbacks. Anyway, I am primarily a city rider, and whenever I go on trips I prefer to keep to the high roads than gravel tracks. So the handling difficulties are not that major.
The legendary thump of the bullet combined with the new touring chopper style look turns quite a few heads in manipal. I love my bike..more than i like quite a few things..its an '87 model thumper and I plan to make an antique out of it...hope I succeed.
