I was seventeen when I fell in love with this machine. A friend of mine used to ride one while we used to talk about how great he looked when he was on it. He used to go thumping annoying the whole neighbourhood with her roaring sound, but believe me those roars were music to my ears. I was born to a middle class family and my parents couldn’t afford to buy me one and so I didn’t even think of asking. However, one thing I knew for sure was – “I was going to own one someday at all costs”.
I moved to a bigger city for a better career after my graduation with my dreams of owing a bullet someday. And after eleven years of waiting, the fairy angel finally smiled at me. 02-Mar-06, Thursday, I signed the loan contract and brought her home. She is an Electra and I call her “Joanne”. She’s got a majestic body and is embedded with a beautiful deep green skin. Her chromes are as glittery as diamonds and she looks at me as if she’s got something to share. I take very special care of her and she gives back the same to me in return. We have been great partners and I trust that my love for this mean machine will grow even more as we cover more miles together.
