Hi Folks!!!
To introduce meself, the name is Yatin. I am primarily from Mumbai but currently stationed in Chennai. In my earlier days as a teen, biking was not a culture yet. It was purely another means of transportation. I was never so keen of owning a bike. Rather, I wanted to have a nice & fancy car for myself. All this until I came across a Bullet one day. The look & feel of the majestic beast was enough to get me yearning for it.
I had to wait for a long time to fulfill the dream. I wasn’t sure which model I should go for. It was the time when Bajaj introduced Eliminator in the market. I was too kicked up about the bike. I took a test ride & decided to buy it in the very next month. Wasn’t sure how I would be raising the money to buy it. So, I decided to consult a very good friend of mine. He was a god’s messenger, who told me rather to buy a bull & modify that. It would not cost me much to buy a second hand one & I could modify it the way we want it to. I took the advice, dropped the idea of buying Eliminator & started searching for a bull. As luck would have it, I found 2 500 ccs & a 350 cc. I checked all 3 & finally decided on taking on my first Enfield motorcycle; a 500 cc monster. I decided not to change it cosmetically & ride it as it is for couple of months & decide later.
Meeting the Thumpers was another good thing that happened to me. First ride with the Inddiethumpers was to Murud. It was raining crazy & about 10 – 12 bullets started their ride to Murud early morning. The experience was just thrilling. People stood aside & watched us. It was also my first meeting with Daman & others. At the end of the ride, I had made some real good friends & got inducted in to the Inddiethumper family, the best way possible, by going on a ride. Inddiethumpers stand for love of the motorcycle, passion for riding & everlasting brotherhood. That was about 2 years back. Looking back, the club still stands strong on those ethos. The thumpers always rock & will rock more hereon.
Now that I have shifted to Chennai, I miss all my brothers. I cherish the moments & the rides with them. I had met up with few fabulous guys from Madbulls. So, even before landing in Chennai, I called them up & was happy to meet them. So, my stint with Madbulls starts.
Ride Safe & Respect the road
Cheers!
Yatin
