About the Custom Build
We wanted the build to be a modern café racer/sports bike style with sleek lines and keep it minimalist. We decided on suspension from a donor sports bike with a single rear shock. A twin undermount exhaust and a fuel tank from the wreckers that seemed to flow nicely with the 650 engine.
I have always had a passion for bikes from an early age, customising anything with wheels is what I love to do most.From making a set of handlebars, to supercharging engines or custom fitting parts, exploring the possibilities and being creative is a great venue I can explore here at TMW.I have been involved with the businesses here for over 7 years, and a mechanic all my life which has given me the tools to apply my skills to the “Royal Enfield Bare Knuckle” build alongside the awesome team here @ TMW
I love all things automotive, motorcycles especially. This was my first bike build and really wanted to be a part of making something unique that we could be proud of. The Busted Knuckles Royal Enfield GT650 build was a great opportunity to learn from other people and build something really special as a team. I have been working in the mechanical industry for about 15 years and this was defiantly the most fun, challenging and rewarding experience.
I grew up around Motorcycles, riding and racing from a young age. Working as a motorcycle mechanic for a number of years and moving onto larger equipment, broadening a range of different skills, I’ve now got back in the Motorcycle game.A love and Appreciation for anything Different or Custom, and a soft spot for the 650 Twin, I was really excited to be involved with the Bare Knuckle Build Off. It was a great experience working with the team here at TMW
