Role context and purpose

  • AS THE MARKETING - TEAM MANAGER (GMA) FOR ROYAL ENFIELD, YOU WILL BE PART OF THE GLOBAL COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATION AND REPORT TO THE HEAD - GENUINE MOTORCYCLE ACCESSORIES.
  • YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANNING & EXECUTING THE MARKET STRATEGY AND BRAND DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP FOR GMA. YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANNING PROCESS ANNUALLY, OWNING THE COMMERCIAL CALENDAR FOR MARKETING, MAXIMIZING THE REACH OF GMA TO OUR TARGET AUDIENCE
  • • YOU WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAMS COMPRISING OF PRODUCT STRATEGY, DESIGN, SOURCING, SALES & BRAND STRATEGY FOR DELIVERING THE BUSINESS AND BRAND OBJECTIVES.

Key Responsibilities

  • WORK CLOSELY WITH EACH MARKET & THEIR DEALERS TO MAXIMIZE SALES OPPORTUNITIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH AGREED COMMERCIAL OBJECTIVES.
  • DEFINE AND EXECUTE THE BUSINESS GROWTH STRATEGY FOR IDENTIFIED MARKETS IN LINE WITH THE OVERALL BLUEPRINT AND CUSTOMIZE EACH ONE IN VIEW THE SPECIFIC MARKET DYNAMICS AND ENVIRONMENT
  • DEVELOP THE GMA ANNUAL MARKETING CALENDAR INCLUDING SETTING OF FINANCIAL TARGETS AND PROJECTIONS FOR GROWTH THEN EXECUTE THE APPROVED PLAN.
  • YOU WILL DRIVE THE ACHIEVEMENT OF OVERALL REVENUES, VOLUMES AND PROFITABILITY TARGETS DEFINED FOR THE VARIOUS REGIONS IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKETS WHILE FOCUSSING ON GROWTH ACROSS ALL KEY PRODUCT LINES AND CATEGORIES.
  • WORK WITH THE MARKET TO BUILD & DRIVE RETAIL CAPABILITY OF GMA WITHIN DEALERSHIPS & ON-LINE.
  • YOU WILL DELIVER ON THE STRATEGY FOR BRAND, MARKETING, PR AND IN THE MARKETS AND ENABLE ADAPTION OF PROGRAMS AND ASSETS FOR LOCAL MARKETS FOR EXPANDING THE REACH, INCREASING SHARE OF SEARCH & ENQUIRIES AND FUNNEL CONVERSION.
  • YOU WILL FOCUS ON QUALITY OF DEALERS AND DELIVERING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE THROUGH THEM; EXPAND THE AVAILABILITY AND VISIBILITY OF THE FULL RANGE OF ROYAL ENFIELD GMA PRODUCTS.
  • YOU WILL LEAD AND MANAGE PROGRAMS IN LIAISON WITH THE EXCELLENCE TEAMS AT HQ TO CONTINUALLY IMPROVE BUSINESS PROCESSES, PRODUCTIVITY, COLLABORATION, CUSTOMER CONNECT AND DRIVE EFFECTIVENESS.

Scope and Impact

  • • YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVENUES OF INR 10 CR AND A TOTAL BUDGET OF INR 2.5 CR. THIS WILL INCLUDE TRACKING AND MONITORING OF THE BUDGETARY SPEND.

Network and stakeholders

  • YOU WILL WORK WITHIN MULTIPLE TEAMS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION TO DELIVER ON THE BUSINESS STRATEGY AND OPERATIONAL PLAN.
  • YOUR INTERNAL INTERACTIONS WILL SPAN FROM VARIOUS TEAMS IN HQ WITHIN GCO, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS, MARKETING, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, BRAND STRATEGY, PRODUCT STRATEGY, SOURCING, FINANCE & WAREHOUSE.
  • WORKING WITH EXISTING MARKETING TEAMS FOR ACTIVATION & CONTENT.

What are we looking for?

  • STRONG BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL ACUMEN WITH AROUND 7-10 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR IMPORT/EXPORT ENVIRONMENT DRIVING SALES GROWTH.
  • CAN DO ATTITUDE WITH HANDS-ON APPROACH TO BUSINESS.
  • STRONG NEGOTIATION SKILLS & ABILITY TO INFLUENCE OUTCOMES
  • EFFECTIVE & PUNCTUAL COMMUNICATOR WITH EXCELLENT TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
  • GOOD SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE (SAP EXPERIENCE WOULD BE USEFUL)
  • ADAPTABLE TO TYPICAL BUSINESS CHANGE SCENARIOS
  • ABILITY TO QUICKLY ESTABLISH STRONG WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
