Reach Kohlapur and visit the Kaneri math and Mahalaxmi Temple and leave for Panhala. Road from Kolhapur to Panhala is pristine. It is a typical rural setup with fields on either side. It is amazing how weather changes over an elevation of 2500 feet in Panhala. Check in to your hotel.

After Reaching Gokarna visit Mahabaleshwar Temple- a 4th century Dravidian style Shiva temple then to the flea markets to find things like quirky jeweller, clothes and prayer beads. Now Enjoy some local food and check in to your hotel and wait for the sun to come down. In the evening before sunset visit Gokarna Beach and spend the rest of the evening walking along the beach to admire the sunset.
Visit Ambarkhana Fort, Sajja Kothi, Teen Darwaza, Ambabai, Sambhaji temple, Someshwar tank & Nayakini Sajja and try to be back to the hotel before sunset as there are no street lights.
