Six times Grand Prix World Champion, Geoff Duke, sits astride a Royal Enfield GP5 racer which he had helped develop. Like many of the company’s publicity photographs, he’s positioned in front of the renowned Royal Enfield signage that bedecked the roof of the offices at the Hewell Road factory. Below is the signage as seen on a recent pilgrimage to Redditch by American Royal Enfield enthusiast, Jorge Pullin. The slate tiles were painted white and have stood the test of time, much like the resilient motorcycles that were built there.
