Registration and Cancellation

We try to keep rules and regulations to the minimum unless when necessary for the harmony and safety of the individual or group. However we expect the few that we have, should be followed very strictly, failing which we may exclude that particular participant from the rest of the trip.

We do not allow any form of intoxication when on the bike.

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that preserves their dignity and others around them, including other participants, support staff and locals of the region

Environmental responsibility:

We must try and ensure that we maintain the sanctity of the region we are passing through.

Medical advice:

If you are under medical treatment we expect you to follow the medical advice very strictly.

We will only be able to accommodate limited number of participants on the ride and this will be done on a first come- first serve basis.

There are only 25 slots on Moto Himalaya.

Fitness and Treadmill Test

Moto Himalaya will last over 9 days with roughly 1000 km of riding. The ride will start in the plains and go over some of the highest mountain passes in the world. The riding terrain, altitude and the changes in weather ensure that the physical conditioning of the rider is tested immensely.

Fitness in such a setting can go a long way and we recommend regular training leading up to the ride. Try out the simple 5 and 50 test- start with 50 push-ups and run 5kms. Measure your timing, we have found these to be a good indication

Under 30 mins - Very good

30-40 minutes- Good

40-50 minutes - Average

50+ - needs work
