Role context and purpose

  • Royal Enfield is a Digital first brand. All our efforts towards reaching out to the community are through Digital mediums and through on ground activations. Today Royal Enfield has a fast growing community of brand lovers and advocates and the brand thrives on the community. With majority of the marketing efforts happening through digital medium we are poised to expand our digital footprint as well across markets. We have an established digital practice in Indian subcontinent and with the expanding demand across markets we are looking to expand our team size as well.
  • The role of Social Community Manager will be responsible for working with the monthly, quarterly and yearly strategy for their market, in partnership with the central team. As a strong communicator and influencer, you will be liaising with the brand team, creative development team/agency and working in harmony with the business/marketing team to be on top of the marketing activities and plans. Build and manage brand advocates for the brand in the respective markets and keep them engaged throughout the year. Local content curation and dissemination will also be a key part of the role.

Key responsibilities

  • Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
  • Working with the market social strategy – Platforms, content buckets, emerging platforms, KPI setting
  • Brand advocate management – community building across a range of platforms
  • Content curation
  • Monthly reporting and quarterly reviews
  • Drive media efficiency and effectiveness using market insights

Success metrics of the role

  • Growth in communities across a range of platforms
  • Increased brand advocacy building and management
  • Increase in brand mentions month on month

Scope and Impact

  • This is IC role (Individual Contributor) reporting into the Digital Lead, with a dotted line to the business team of the respective markets. The candidate will be managing multiple markets in a region – EU, LATAM, and SEA.

What are we looking for?

  • A graduate in a relevant subject (Digital/PR/Communications) - 2:1 or above (or equivalent qualification or relevant experience)
  • The Candidate should have demonstrable experience in social media strategy/execution for brands (preferably auto) and should have a good understanding of platform insights.
  • Preferably from an agency background, background with as established brand is also welcome.
  • The candidate should be supremely digitally savvy and should have thorough knowledge of present and emerging social platforms and related technologies
  • Candidate with a fair understanding of content production will be preferred
  • Candidate should be a people’s person and should be able to communicate with internal stakeholders/agency/brand advocates and build long terms relationships
  • Should have a good eye for content – should be able to manage live content dissemination – Social Live, Stories etc.
