It has been amazing experience riding it but Still trying to find best position for riding long routes. Right now, even 100kms is killing.

Once you get a patch of heavy traffic, it is torturing to grip the heavy handle with clutch to play. In all, I find the left hand palm in pain after the ride.

hey prasad my experience with the bike has been awsom man. the looks the sound the feel oh the feel. just pure pleasure.but i am on a mission to make it even better. planning some mods for the bike. k and n filter, iridium spark plugs, motul 300v 15w50 fully synthatic engine oil. these are just the few of them. once the running in period is compeletly over and i have my 2 service done there is a lot of stuff i am planning for it. i will be happy to get somewhere around 35 -38 bhp out of the engine. overall a amazing bike with character and attitude dripping out of it.

Hi Friends, I went on a very long ride on it. Pune to Hyderabad and back. So total 1120KMs approx., I have faced problems with left wrist pain and spark plug issues. It is an amazing ride no doubt in that and I can bear the pain in wrist and have solution for that also. But can anyone here please help with the spark plug issues. Already 2 spark plugs have been burned. After a small ride in rain or wash the bike engine starts miss-firing and electric start also starts giving problem and after a few KMs it gets burned. Local mechanics say that it have fuel injector instead of carburetor and that adjustment is wrong somewhere. Can you please advice me on these things.

hi madhu, when did you buy your bike.get your bike remapped at the service center and check the spart plig seating

solution for wrist pain..adapt a more upright posture on long drives it take the weight of the wrists.

hi prasad, at the moment i have just changed the regular RE air filter to a r-1100 conical shaped air filter by k and n. and the performance gains were noticeable straight away. the bike felt more eager to rev and it leaped forward like never before. i always felt that although its a stunning bike there is something missing, like its got more potential that is waiting to be explored. the k and n filter that i fitted to my bike is certainly is a step in that direction and it has improved the performance on my bike. the performance is also less stressed. its happened my a lot of time that i was riding the way i used to with the stock filter and when i look at the speedo i am over 100 kmph. much to my surprise.i thought that never happened when i had the stock filter on the bike. i will be changing the spark plugs with iridium spark plugs. [ as soon as they are available]. And also i will be changing the engine oil to fully senthatic 15w50 motul 300v as soon as i have 2500 kmph on the odo because with the regular engine oil there is more friction in the engine, and i want the bikes engine to be fully run in and taken the right shape. as fully senthatic engine oil will have less friction in the engine and will not let the engine open up quite right. so any of u planning to get a k and n filter go for it guys there is very much a noticeable difference in the acceleration. its good at get more performance out of this bike as i always felt like it should have had more performance. its filling that gap that would make this amazing bike perfect.

have you bike remapped mate. RE has been offering free remapping for all continental GT owners. its a new map made by the company to make the bike more smother and have better performance. see if that helps your problem.

what adjustments did you do after fitting the K&N... recently had my ecu remapped by the service center, the idling was 1000 when cold and used to go up to 1500 when hot now it idles on 1000.. any difference in mileage

hi this is my first bike and i dont know what a spark plug is but since my first service bike is not getting start rplaced spark plug once and after two days the bike is not starting with self or kick

Hi Akshay, Going through your post i realised that you are moving exactly in the direction that i am with the bike. I know this is a old post to reply on but wished to know whether you are having issues with the front fork of your bike. Does is loosen up everytime and start sounding like a Activa front does? Please share the remedy if you have any for that.

hey rohit. it is great to know someone shares the same passion as me. the front fork does have some sound coming from it. i have asked fellow gt owners and some of the owners are do have some sound coming from the front fork. the RE guys says that it is preety normal. and it is ok. it wont cause any problem. but i will ask the RE senior mechanic as well. r u planning any mods for your GT. the latest one i have done is a new exhaust and lowered clip on bars.

I have a lot of things to do on the bike but since I have got the bike just a few months back and am facing a number of issues just waiting it out since i dont want the guys to make an issue about the warranty and stuff. Eventually yes. A lot in store.

Major misfire issues, problems with the handle (fork), fuel injector gets clogged with carbon every 25 days. These are a few apart from minor glitches here and there. Spoke to the regional manager of RE. He couldnt do anything either. So all in all a really bad experience so far!!

fitted a power commander 5 on my gt

hi guys. got my GT last month, Please suggest me a better exhaust for the bike as i am not happy with the original one.

fit a carpys customs exhaust on the bike man. u can get it online on cb750 cafe website.

I cant get past 120 KM on the GT, the ODO reads 3100.. you guys have any idea why?
