The story behind the Design

A very hot model in motorcycles right now is the Bobber. Though the first bobber appeared in the late 1920s with Bob-down i.e. cut-down design to improve the performance and modernize the appearance at that time.

But for this rapidly changing and modern world, my idea was to create a design more inclined towards the future and show the presence of technology in the world. Also, the form of motorbike represents the approach towards green or sustainable transportation. The significance of form (rotating arrow) that continues from a tank that goes around the engine and into the gearbox is it shows the resurgence of Retro bikes. I believe in the term ‘Jinbei Ittai’ introduced by Mazda that the design will reflect the sense of oneness between a rider and his beloved bike. I can enjoy the ride as a whole soul along with its retro charm, dominating the streets of the future.
