The Tour of Rajasthan is a 9-day ride developed for Royal Enfield owners who wish to break away from the mundane and get closer to the elements of nature, covering the largest state in the Republic of India. A Royal Enfield Himalayan rider with a YouTube channel named ‘Behind the Handlebar’ has uploaded a short teaser of his trip to Rajasthan on his Royal Enfield Himalayan as part of the event in 2016.

The riders are shown travelling through some of the most spectacular landscapes, with the thrill seekers among them getting a first-hand experience of dune camping. For the riders, a major attraction for joining the Tour of Rajasthan is the opportunity to travel through Rajasthan and explore many famous forts and palaces along with the wildlife sanctuaries and other monuments while riding their Royal Enfield in the land of kings.

The ride includes charted routes that very few people ever ride on with an exciting mix of desolate smooth roads that stretch straight into the horizon, rustic country roads with surprise sand crossings and even more surprised villagers, exciting hilly roads through ancient mountain ranges, shifting sand dunes and even a flat dry salt lake and more. What’s more, delicious Rajasthani meals and breath-taking monuments are a treat at almost every stop.
