Eligibility: This ride is open for all Royal Enfield enthusiasts that are amateur photographers and have the necessary photography equipment to benefit from a professional training module. The presence of photography equipment is mandatory and registration will be canceled at Royal Enfield’s discretion in the absence of minimum equipment.
Minimum Equipment List
DSLR camera with manual controls. Full frame camera suggested for a better quality of images.
-> Any wide angle lens ranging from 8mm to 24mm
-> Intervalometer ( Not Mandatory )
-> Sturdy Tripod
-> Laptop ( With Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom )
-> Headlamp (The lamps with red light)

We try to keep rules and regulations to the minimum unless necessary for the harmony and safety of every individual in the group. However, we expect the few that we have, to be followed very strictly, failing which we may exclude that particular participant from the rest of the trip.
RULES
Intoxication:
No form of intoxication is allowed while on the motorcycle during Astral Ride Ladakh 2022.
Conduct:
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that preserves their dignity and others' around them, including other participants, support staff and locals of the region.
Environmental responsibility:
We must try and ensure that we maintain the sanctity of the region we are passing through. Ladakh is a beautiful place which we must strive to keep. Avoid use of single-use plastic and littering anywhere. Carry a water bottle with you for the duration of the ride. Or just carry a hydration bag with you to avoid buying plastic water bottles.
Medical advice:
If you are under medical treatment, we expect you to follow the medical advice very strictly.
LUGGAGE
A vehicle is arranged to carry your luggage, and it will be carried at the owner’s risk. Each rider is allowed to place one bag with a maximum permissible limit of 15Kgs. Each rider must ensure that their luggage is loaded and unloaded every day within stipulated timelines to be communicated on a daily basis. The luggage van will be a closed van where all your photography equipment will be stored safe from any possible environmental damage.
Satellite luggage (to be carried on the motorcycle at all times)
The luggage vehicle, if on any day gets delayed, may cause a delay in participants being able to access their luggage after reaching a destination. Also, it can be tiresome to wait for the service vehicle for something as basic as a tube. Hence your satellite luggage carried on the motorcycle should consist of:
1. One pair of footwear - The riding shoes might be wet and are not the most comfortable for walking while in the camp or hotel.
2. Change of clothes - To hang around the camps or hotels and sleep comfortably after a hard day's ride.
3. Basic First aid kit with essential medicines, or your prescribed medication if you are on medication
4. Hydration pack / water bottle / (No single use Plastic bottles)
5. Light, high energy snacks
6. Spare bike key
7. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, please carry spare spectacles, lens cleaning solution, and lenses.
8. Camera/phone and spare power supply, chargers, memory storage devices, etc.
9. Anything else you might require between the time of your reaching the destination and the arrival of the luggage vehicle.
10. Bungee cords to tie down the satellite luggage on to motorcycle
11. Rain cover for your luggage to protest against inclement weather.
EQUIPMENT
We understand that you will be carrying photography equipment with you. The responsibility of the said equipment lies solely with the owner of the said equipment. Royal Enfield does not bear any liability or responsibility towards damage or loss of any individual’s equipment.
Any sort of sloganeering related to any caste, sect, group etc is strictly prohibited and will be dealt with strict actions.
Law & Order implications - Any participant getting into any law and order situation due to personal action or behavior will have no liability on Royal Enfield and the individual would be responsible for his/her consequences.
