The concept is called “ULKA,” which translates to Meteor in sanskrit. The inspiration came from the RE Meteor itself - the way a meteor shoots overhead and leaves a trail was the mood of the concept.. I am a fan of sports bikes and sport tourers and the classic cruiser style of RE Meteor gave me an early vision of a sports-retro-neo-punk concept. A very energetic and fresh feel, which depicts my personality, along with a sporty fairing for that highway cruising style. The titanium exhaust is tucked under the seat on the right side with a flat track inspired sporty tail. The single seat configuration makes that possible and makes the overall proportion of the motorcycle better. The fairing is not like a sportbike’s, which covers the components, but flaunts the insides of the head lamp with pride. It gives enough stance, feel and performance to lend a sporty feel on the highway and protects rider against wind. The tank is designed in a way that it integrates the faring and gives it a neo retro look, along with the filler cap on the right side. “Ulka” details all over the motorcycle makes it interesting for the looker to engage in the design.
