What else?
1. Brush up on your riding skills. It’s not just about speed. Balance and control are key requirements to get through the challenges in the Himalayan Spirit. What is the best you can do? Just ride your Motorcycle, that will do! If required, browse through some of the tutorials.
2. Take time and work on your navigating skills. A navigation device is only as good as the person using it. Get used to making your own routes and following a written-down set of notes.
3. Lastly, be prepared to put some of your life skills to test. Be ready to solve problems quickly, whether on the Motorcycle or on the trail as you ride. Finally get used to being self-sufficient on your Motorcycle. That means, carrying a few tools, staying hydrated and having a plan for fueling, not just for the Motorcycle but for yourself as well.
