Rules, Regulations & Scoring

Participation is more important than the scores you obtain at the Himalayan Spirit 2025.
Participation > finishing > scores obtained. Get the idea?

Rules:

- On the road-based navigation sections of the event, it is the rider’s responsibility to adhere to all local traffic laws and protocols.
- ATGATT - All the gear, all the time. Your riding gear is there to protect you, wear it!

Regulations:

- Score-keeping will be split across various stages and will be weighed evenly.
- Judges' and marshals’ decisions will be final on all scores.
- All stages of the event will be categorised as pass/fail with the exception of the Moto-obstacle course which will have ranking based on time taken.
- Glide through all stages and activities, finish all of them and be present at the end for a finisher award. The finisher’s medal will look beautiful, that’s for sure.

Intoxication: We do not allow any form of intoxication during the event - your first beer of the day comes after your last ride.

Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that preserves their dignity and others around them. That includes other participants and support staff. Be nice!

Environmental responsibility: We must ensure that we maintain the sanctity of the region. Respect the local population, respect the trails, and leave only tyre prints.

Medical advice: If you are under medical treatment we expect you to follow the medical advice strictly.
