Royal Enfield rider Soumya Chatterjee loves to share his motorcycle journeys - unplanned and unscripted, in his own words. Soumya rode to Royal Enfield Escapade Coorg in 2016 and had a great time exploring new terrains, meeting new people, sharing new experiences and creating new memories amidst – by his admission – the clouds, rain, camping, barbeque, alcohol, music, bonfire and lots of Royal Enfield motorcycles.
The third edition of the Escapade provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Riders from across the southern cities rode towards the lush green hills of Coorg for the third edition of the Royal Enfield Escapade. There were rides organised from Bangalore, Mysore, Madurai, Chennai, Kochin among other places.
The riders experienced near perfect riding
conditions with brief spells of rain en route. After a good day’s ride to
Coorg, the riders unwounded to a chat at Royal Enfield’s Long Distance Travel
Forum. The night was spent in the company of fellow riders, barbeque and music.
After an early morning cup of coffee, the riders headed out to tackle some
technical trails, carefully selected by the team. There was no shortage of
enthusiasm and determination during the outing, and the event succeeded in bringing together like-minded
adventurous souls connected through their penchant for riding.
