Reunion South 2016

Author : Royal Enfield Author RE | 11 Nov 2018

It was a call to reunite around the common passion for all things Enfield. And participants from across the country responded with enthusiasm at Ooty from August 19-21 to celebrate Reunion 2016.

It was a call to reunite around the common passion for all things Enfield. And participants from across the country responded with enthusiasm at Ooty from August 19-21 to celebrate Reunion 2016. For two days, riders including YouTube user ‘S2KMoto’ who has uploaded this video participated in motorcycling games, went on adventure rides and shared riding stories with friends old and new. Royal Enfield Reunion, over the years, has become a gathering of Royal Enfield enthusiasts and riders to reunite and bond over a weekend of pure motorcycling bonhomie.

If the riders needed a place to connect with their fellow Royal Enfield enthusiasts, they were provided with the perfect opportunity to bond with other riders (as visible in the video) and share their stories of the road – just the opportunity the riders needed to get away from the daily grind and forge new friendships. Ooty came alive during Royal Enfield Reunion South with the revelry of thumping engines and camaraderie of Royal Enfield riders.

Reunion South – before the Ooty 2016 edition – had previously been held at Ooty (2012), Kodaikanal (2013), Munnar (2014) and Coorg (2015). The riders traversed via the Nilgiris back into the Blue Mountains wrapping themselves in a blanket full of lush green, as their Royal Enfield motorcycles rumbled into the southern gorges. The weekend was spent with fellow riders in fun, light-hearted events through the day and partying away in the evenings with some old and some new friends.
