A rest day for the group. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Kaza – visit the local marketplaces and places of spiritual significance. Interact with the locals and learn about their culture and how they spend their days in this unique part of the globe. Most importantly however, give your body an opportunity to rest and acclimatise to the high altitude – this will hold you in good stead for the days to come!

A short stop at the pass to pray for smooth passage the rest of the way. The road is narrow and rocky a fair amount of the way through - both technically challenging and tiring, but extremely rewarding for those who make the journey!
