Laila - A motorcycle which combines the best of both motorcycles - Himalayan and Interceptor.
The objective of this bike was simple. To make an all-terrain motorcycle, using the engine and chassis of the more powerful Interceptor 650 but the suspension setup for the Himalayan.
We increased the ground clearance by swapping the front suspension setup with that of Himalayan with YSS springs and YSS rear mono shock. Larger 21 inch front wheel at the front and 17 inch from Himalayan at the rear was used with Metzeler Karoo 3 off road tires.
To help it traverse off-road terrains we also shed some weight by using Tec Exhaust from UK.
The bike perfectly marries the virtues of the off-roading capabilities of the Himalayan and the power and refinement of the Interceptor 650.
